The Embassy of India, Tokyo, is organizing a seminar on "Enhancing Critical Mineral Security: India-Japan Partnership” on February 27, 2025, from 16:00 to 17:00 hrs at the Embassy of India Auditorium. The seminar aims to deepen bilateral cooperation between India and Japan in critical mineral security, focusing on supply chain resilience, sustainable mining, and recycling initiatives.

【インド大使館より】Bharat Ko Janiye (Know India) Quiz 2024-25

5th Edition of the Bharat Ko Janiye (Know India) Quiz 2024-25 is live till 10 December 2024.

The Quiz aims at motivating People of Indian origin/Indian community living abroad to know and understand India. The BKJ Quiz will be held online for two categories of PIO/Foreigners & NRI aged between 14 to 50 years. The quiz is open to foreign nationals also.

The details of terms and conditions for participation may be accessed from the live web portal of Bharat Ko Janiyehttps://www.bkjquiz.com/ which features the Guidelines and Rules, along with other relevant information including Model Test and FAQs. Registration on the Portal is mandatory by eligible contestant. There is no entry fee.

The Quiz will contain 30 multiple choice objective type questions to be answered in maximum of 16-17 minutes without any negative marking. There will be no limit on the number of attempts and best score will be counted. While evaluating the question papers the time taken to answer the questions will be accounted for.

Top 15 winners in each category (total 30) to visit India on a 2-week long BKJ Yatra, starting with their participation in Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas (PBD) celebrations. Up to 2 winners in each category from one country (Maximum 4 winners from a country) will be selected to ensure widespread geographical representation of winners.

Digital Certificate of participation to all the participants will be awarded.

インド国内２位の経済規模を誇ります。

インド北部に位置するインド工科大学Jodhpur校、Mandi校の2校からそれぞれ講師をお招きし、各校をご紹介いただくウェビナーを11月18日（月）に開催

インド工科大学（India Institute of Technology: IIT) は23校で構成され、Jodhpur校、
Mandi校ともに2008年にインド人的資源開発省（現教育省）が設立した8つの新しいインド工科大学に含まれます。
両校ともにコンピュータ・電気工学、基礎科学、工学、など理系の学部に強みを持つ大学です。
日本企業との連携に積極的な姿勢を示しており、ジェトロ主催の本イベントへの登壇の運びとなりました。

インド高度人材の採用や産学連携等にご関心のある皆様は、是非ご参加ください。

〇IIT　Jodhpur校、Mandi校の特徴
IIT　Jodhpur校（IITJ）
-ラジャスタン州に位置する当校の施設は、約48社が入居する日本企業専用のニムラナ工業団地の近くに立地。
州全体としては181社（2023年7月）の日本企業に行が集まり、インド国内の中で日本と親和性が高い州である。
欧州の主要な大学と共同研究や交換留学プログラムが進めている他、同大学から日本の大手企業への就職実績
もある。
-この研究所は持続可能性に重点を置いており、この分野の研究を行うだけでなく、
1メガワットの屋上太陽光発電所を持っており、二酸化炭素排出量を削減し、環境保全を推進している。

IIT　Mandi校（IITM）
-ヒマラヤ山脈の中心に位置するIITマンディには、最先端の研究施設と教授陣が揃っているだけでなく、
立地を生かしてドローンのテストなど、この研究所ならではの研究も行っている。
-日本語の授業は2名の日本人ネイティブ教師が担当し、日本語と日本文化を深く理解した高度な理工系学生の継続的な育成を可能にしている。
その結果、日本の政府機関、企業、大学などからの訪問や交流が急増している。
